Question 1

What is the difference between Trades and Oddities?

Accepted Answer

Trades covers a capability shown through conventional work, documents, or third-party evidence. Oddities is for an unconventional claim where an artifact or signal carries the evidence. Choose the claim route that fits your submission.

Question 2

Who chooses my claim title, and where does it appear?

Accepted Answer

You enter the title for a Trade or Oddity claim. If approved, that submitted title appears on the issued credential; the title itself does not determine the review outcome.

Question 3

What evidence should I submit, and what is public?

Accepted Answer

Submit relevant material you own or have the right to share, and follow the rules for legality, safety, and consent. Avoid private details. Original evidence is not part of public verification; a credential may show a Steward-curated summary and its integrity hash.

Question 4

When is a paid claim eligible for review?

Accepted Answer

A paid claim becomes eligible for Steward review only after checkout is confirmed. It can then enter review. Payment does not guarantee approval or a credential.

Question 5

What can a Steward decide, and can I resubmit?

Accepted Answer

Stewards approve or reject, and a rejection records a reason. Revision is not a separate decision: only a rejected Trade claim can be revised and resubmitted as a new paid submission. In Trades review, a Steward with a conflict can recuse so another Steward can review it.

Question 6

How do I verify a credential?

Accepted Answer

Look up its ID or use the verification API. Issued credentials resolve as active or approved, or revoked; rejected claims do not receive credentials. Malformed IDs are invalid, unknown IDs are not found, and lookup failures may be unavailable.
