Strange feats, on the record
A rare achievement — set, broken, or held — with the artifact a steward panel can open on its own.
Strange — testable — unowned. Through the same evidence gate as any other credential.
Oddities is Proofworks' track for capabilities with no fixed curriculum — where the proof lives in the artifact itself, and an independent steward panel weighs the work on its own signal. Same audit rigor as Trades; a different threshold for what counts as evidence.
$50 funds independent claim review; it does not purchase approval or a credential.
The second track of Proofworks covers rare, unusual, and unclassifiable work. The panel reviews the evidence against the same independent audit bar used across the service.
Step right up
Eight claims that already belong in this room — pulled from the kinds of submissions the steward panel has been asked to weigh.
A rare achievement — set, broken, or held — with the artifact a steward panel can open on its own.
A claim a third party can confirm without taking the claimant's word — repeatable, observable, falsifiable.
A collection whose provenance the steward can trace, whose condition is on the record, and whose custody is unbroken.
A skill recorded end to end — uncropped, captioned, and witnessed by someone a domain may vouch for on the artifact.
A record set, broken, or held — and reproducible from the evidence itself.
An event dated, located, and witnessed — surviving in a form that does not lean on the claimant's memory.
Expertise carried by the claimant's own artifacts — not by an outside credential or a third-party stamp.
A claim no traditional trade owns — held to Proofworks' evidence gate, not to any pre-existing rubric.
Six standards. One bar.
Oddities shifts the threshold for what counts as evidence. It does not lower the bar. Every claim on this page is held to the same six standards as every other track.
A credential is only as deep as the artifact under it. The proof lives in the artifact — uncut, dated, locatable — and sticks to one of four explicit visibility tiers.
The live router selects the General or Specialist route; panel size and decision threshold follow the route.
The claimant sets one of four visibility tiers on every piece of evidence — steward-only, public summary, redacted, or integrity hash. The raw artifact is never exposed by default.
Stewards with a stake in the claim step aside, on the record. Panel composition and recusal sit on the audit log beside the decision.
Every claim — approved, declined, contested — leaves a permanent audit trail. The credential is independently verifiable and tamper-evident on the public ledger while protected evidence stays private, without contacting Proofworks.
